Ingrédients

1 pkg (30 g) Yves Veggie Cuisine® The Good Veggie Burger (4 burgers)
2 cups (500 mL) shredded lettuce
1 tomato, sliced
1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped pickled turnip
1/4 cup (60 mL) diced white onion
4 pita breads (4 inch/10 cm), toasted

Vegan Dressing:
1/3 cup (75 mL) dairy-free yogurt
1/4 cup (60 mL) hummus
1 tbsp (15 mL) white wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp (1 mL) each ground cumin, dried dill, salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Vegan Dressing: Whisk together yogurt, hummus, vinegar, garlic, cumin, dill, salt and pepper.
  2. Grill burgers according to package directions.
  3. Assemble burgers, lettuce, tomato slices, turnip, onion and Vegan Dressing in pita breads.

Astuces

  • Add slices of cucumber to sandwich if desired.
  • For a spicier dressing, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • The dressing also makes a good dip for falafels and veggies.
